It’s easy to throw on tires and forget about them but rotating your tires and making sure they are properly balanced can save you money.

It’s unnoticeable at first but add up the miles and you’ll see that each tire is going to wear differently. To make sure you’re getting all the value out of those tires you need to rotate them often.

Each corner of your car is going to grip the road in slightly different ways, leading to uneven wear.

Whether that’s back to front or changing sides, ensuring you’re using all the tread at similar rates is going to make each dollar you spend on tires last longer.

HERE ARE SOME COMMON WHEEL AND BALANCE SYMPTOMS YOUR CAR MIGHT BE EXPERIENCING:

If you do notice your tires wearing unevenly and tread on one tire is slightly more or less than the others, then you might need your tires balanced.
If your wheels are weighed improperly, you might also notice vibration in your steering wheel or your fuel economy getting worse.
While all tires and wheels look the same, small differences in weight and balance start to become problematic as your wheels spin hundreds of times per minute.

If you start to notice any of those symptoms it’s likely that one of your wheel weights fell off at some point, throwing off the rotational mass as your wheels are turning.

While the wheel weights are small, they are spinning very quickly so it’s not uncommon for them to become loose.

To get back on spec we need to put your wheels on a specialized machine, called a tire balancer, to find a perfect balance to get your back on the road!
