A BRIEF HISTORY OF JEEP
Jeeps have been around for some time with its roots dating back to World War II. Since 1941, Jeeps and their 4X4 off-road capability has made them the oldest four-wheel drive mass-produced vehicles of all time.
Officially, the Jeep brand has been part of Chrysler since 1987. Chrysler who is now owned by Stellantis, a foreign company, based out of the Netherlands, include brands like Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat and Alpha Romeo.
Today, Jeeps are still built where they were built originally back in the early 1940's, in Toledo, Ohio.
